Knowing when you are ready to purchase a home can be a tricky thing. There are many factors involved like credit score, income, leases and many more. As a buyer’s agent I only work with clients who want to purchase a home. I understand what it takes to get you into a home and will help you every step of the way.

If you have started thinking of buying a home, my advice is to speak with a lender that you trust.  If you don't know of one, ask your family or friends for a referral, trust me they will have someone to recommend. And if by chance they don’t then ask a realtor. You will not be obligated to sign or do anything with that realtor so don’t be afraid to reach out. We are always glad to help.

Once you know what you are qualified for and are comfortable with the monthly payments then start to get an idea of what you really want in a home. Do you want 2 bedrooms or 3, a master closet that will make your friends jealous or a huge backyard? We would like to sit down with you in a buyer’s consultation so we can get to know what YOU want. That way we can help find the perfect homes for you and there is no wasted time.

While you should begin your search at any time we recommend starting to seriously look for a home 30 to 60 days before your desired move in date. That way the homes are more likely to stay on the market long enough for you to be able to put in an offer as well as give you enough time to really search for your dream home. We don’t want you to be pressured into buying a home you won’t love after a month.
